Service Liability Disclaimer

1. Scope of Diagnosis & Repair By requesting service, the customer acknowledges that a vehicle diagnosis is an assessment based on the vehicle's current condition. While we are licensed and professional, automotive systems are complex; a diagnosis does not guarantee that other unrelated issues will not arise during or after the repair.

2. Liability Limitations CJ’S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES, LLC and its technicians are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing Conditions: Any damage or failure resulting from hidden defects, prior improper repairs by others, or extreme wear and tear.

  • Customer-Supplied Parts: We do not warrant any parts provided by the customer. Any failure of customer-supplied parts, or damage caused by those parts, is the sole responsibility of the customer.

  • Consequential Damages: We are not responsible for loss of use, loss of wages, or storage fees resulting from a vehicle being out of service.

3. Mobile Work Environment The customer assumes all liability for the location provided for the service. This includes:

  • Ensuring the workspace is flat, stable, and safe for the technician.

  • Compliance with local HOA rules or city ordinances regarding on-site repairs.

4. Authorization of Work The customer authorizes the technician to operate the vehicle for the purposes of testing, inspection, and delivery.

Terms & Conditions - The Basics 

1. Service Authorization & Testing

The customer hereby authorizes CJ’S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES, LLC to perform the repair and/or diagnostic services requested. This authorization includes permission to operate the vehicle on public streets or elsewhere for the purpose of testing, inspection, and verification of repairs.

2. Payment Terms

  • Due Date: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of services.

  • Methods Accepted: We accept cash, major credit cards, and online payments.

  • Late Fees: Any invoice not paid at the time of service may be subject to a late fee of 12% per day until the balance is cleared for fleet accounts.

3. Estimate and Pricing

  • Validity: Written estimates are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.

  • Additional Work: If, during the course of repair, our technicians discover additional necessary repairs, we will seek customer approval before proceeding with the extra work.

4. Customer-Supplied Parts

CJ’S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES, LLC strongly recommends the use of professional-grade parts sourced by our company. If a customer insists on providing their own parts:

  • No warranty is provided for the part or the labor associated with it.

  • If a customer-supplied part is defective or incorrect, the customer is still responsible for the labor costs incurred during the attempt to install it.

5. Safety and Access

The customer is responsible for providing a safe, legal, and flat workspace for the technician. We reserve the right to cancel service if the location poses a safety risk to our staff or the environment.

6. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to a service call fee of $25.00.

  • Payment Timing: Payment for all diagnostic and repair services is due immediately upon the completion of the work.

  • Pricing Changes: We reserve the right to change our service rates and offerings at any time without prior notice.

3. Modification of Services

CJ’S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES, LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the services offered through this website at any time. This includes changes to service areas, types of repairs performed, and fleet account programs.

4. Intellectual Property and Copyrights

All content on this website, including the CJ’S AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES, LLC logo, text, and images, is the intellectual property of the company. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any materials from this site for commercial purposes without express written consent.

5. Account Suspension and Cancellation

We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently terminate or suspend your access to our website or booking services without notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms & Conditions or engaged in fraudulent activity.

6. Limited Warranties

  • Labor Warranty: We provide a 30 day warranty on labor performed by our technicians.

  • Parts Warranty: Parts are subject to the specific manufacturer’s warranty; we do not provide additional warranties on parts unless explicitly stated in writing.

  • Exclusions: No warranty is provided for customer-supplied parts or temporary/emergency "patch" repairs requested by the customer.
